International appreciation for Jos Dirix’s sculptures
A summer with three exhibitions on the agenda solely out of the desire to show his work again after a period of lock downs and corona limitations: the EuropArtFair in Amsterdam in July, Knokke Art Fair in Belgium last week and Art@Aldenghoor from 24 until 26 of September in Haelen.
Amsterdam and Knokke
'I’m so happy that it is possible to meet one another again amidst my sculptures. Visitors of the exhibitions in Amsterdam and Knokke also experienced that. Many marks of sympathy with uplifting interest. Encounters with colleagues are also interesting and inspiring after these times of isolation. I’m extremely grateful for the honourable appreciation from visitors and buyers during the exhibitions.’
Art@Aldenghoor
'This summery series of exhibitions closes with a new initiative from our daughter Kiki Dirix. She organizes a contemporary art manifestation in the Castle of Aldenghoor for anyone who likes to indulge in art and culture.’
Art@Aldenghoor is an exhibition and an art sale with a remarkable selection of contemporary art. In a variety of art forms and materials: paintings, ceramics, sculptures and furniture. The group of artist that were selected consists of Lars de Baat, Wilma van Duuren, Inez Bosker, Marko Milic from Croatia and Jos Dirix. Creators of autonomous fine art as well as functional art. The collective value springs from the quality of their individual craft and imagination.
The entire ambiance is awesome, the exhibition is inviting.
